Easy Goldfish Party Favors

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I am going to continue with the Goldfish theme today.  First off, let's talk favor buckets!  This is a tried and true cute way to give your party guests their little "thank yous".

Beach Pail Supply List:

1. Beach Pail--I bought mine at Michael's for $1!!!
2. White cardstock
3. Computer and printer for saying (or a rubber stamp)
4. Rubber Stamp for image--I bought this ADORABLE fish bowl and goldfish stamp set from a company called Cupcake Tree on Etsy.  If you would like to purchase this stamp set, click here.
5. Stampin' Up! ink in Tempting Turquoise and Only Orange.
6. Cricut Expression
7. Feeling Groovy Cricut Cartridge (yes, I know I use this cartridge a lot, but I am often doing these projects late at night and don't want to look through 50 fonts.  Feeling Groovy is my go-to font.)
8. Vinyl--turquoise and hot pink.  I purchase my vinyl from www.signwarehouse.com.  I use the Oracle 631 vinyl. 
9. Transfer Tape also purchased at Sign Warehouse
10. Bling from my big jar of bling.
11. Corner rounder punch
12. Hole Punch
13. Hot glue gun and glue.
14. Ribbon of your choice.  I bought the blue polka dot ribbon at Hobby Lobby.
15. Sizzix Fish Die--you can find old Sizzix dies on eBay.
16. Cuttlebug

Step 1:  I set up a word file and create the tag.  (3"x3").  Since my computer won't print something that small, I fed in a piece of paper 3" wide x 6" long.  I printed the saying on one end then flipped the paper around and fed it through the printer again to print it on the other end.  Then I cut it down the middle to create two cards.

Step 2:  Stamp the image.

Step 3:  Use the corner rounder punch to round the corners of the card.

Step 4:  Punch a hole in the upper left-hand corner of the card, string your ribbon through the hole, and tie it onto the pail in a pretty bow.

Step 5:  Cut out the guest's name out of vinyl using the Cricut.  The letters are 4" high.  Use transfer tape to apply the letters to the bucket.

Step 6:  Cut out fish using the Sizzix Fish die cut and the Cuttlebug.  Apply the fish above the guest's name.  Then hot glue some bling on the bucket.

Now let's talk about an even easier party perk for your guests...pool noodles (assuming it's a pool party of course).  But they don't have to plain.  You can jazz them up a bit for the occasion.

Supply List for Pool Noodle:

1. Pool noodle from Dollar Tree
2. Tulle from Hobby Lobby
3. Orange cardstock
4. Sizzix Fish Die
5. Cuttlebug
6. Scissors
7. Hole Punch

Step 1:  Cut desired length of tulle and tie it in a bow on the pool noodle.  Leave ample tails on your bow for the decorations.

Step 2:  Cut out goldfish from the Sizzix Fish Die using your Cuttlebug.  Punch holes in the center of the fish.

Step 3.  Twist one of the tails of the bow and feed the fish onto the tulle.  When you twist the tulle it makes the tail very thin, thus making the fish easy to thread onto it.  Space out the fish, and tie a knot at the end.  Repeat on the other tail.

EASY but cute!!
