I filmed a little video to show you how I made the word "JOY" that is hanging above my stove. Here are a few pics of the project:
Nope, you didn't miss one. For some reason I didn't take a picture of the "O", but you get the idea.
The supplies needed are:
Lightweight chipboard in white. To order some online, check out the link to JoAnns.com here.
Pink Cardstock
Glitter Scrapbook Paper or Wrapping Paper. (The pink, sparkly wrapping paper I used came from Michael's.)
Spray Adhesive
Candy Accents (Mine were purchased from Wal-Mart.)
And, a Cricut Machine (I used the Cricut Expression.)
Now, here is the how-to video:
I hung the letters using glue dots, but that isn't holding really well on the brick. I will probably be switching to, honestly, duct tape. (When all else fails... :-) )
Thanks for the tutorial. I don't have a cricut but I'm debating on getting one or a silhouette. I love your blog. I'm your newest follower. Would love you to stop by DIY Home Sweet Home. Any advise would be helpful.
